A City So Grand was Featured and Recommended by the Concord Bookshop

I love independent bookstores, and one of the best in Massachusetts is the Concord Bookshop in historic Concord, MA. It was great to see that the store featured and recommended my book, A City So Grand: The Rise of an American Metropolis, Boston 1850-1900! (You can see it at the bottom right of the display with the striking red cover block image.) Even better was the glowing recommendation given by staff member Matt, who referred to the book as “an enormously engaging account…a wonderful read and highly recommended to everyone.” You can read Mike’s full review in the photo below.
