A Big Thank You for a Wonderful First Year (plus) of The Great Abolitionist!
This item is a big thank you to you! April marked the one-year anniversary of the publication of my eighth book, The Great Abolitionist: Charles Sumner and the Fight for a More Perfect Union, and I want to express my gratitude to all of you for the book’s success.
The past year-plus has been a whirlwind of speaking events, press interviews, school visits, book club meetings, and podcasts – and I’ve enjoyed all of it! Response from readers has been wonderful – and I’ve received more emails from around the country on this book than any other during the first year of publication.
