Naples, FL Book Club

I’m offering a big thank you to this enthusiastic Naples, Florida club that was kind enough to read my book, Voyage of Mercy. Member Peg Mongiello said the group focused its discussions on the roles of the book’s lead characters — USS Jamestown Captain Robert Bennet Forbes and Irish priest Father Theobald Mathew — as well as Sir Charles Trevelyan, who managed the (poor) British response to the Irish famine. “Loved the writing and the history lesson,” Peg reported.
