Here’s a little side-story related to The Great Abolitionist first anniversary
Some of you may recall that the very first time I spoke publicly about the book – even before it came out – was on Abington (MA) Community Access and Media’s show, “Author Talk,” hosted by Jim Dorman and directed by Kevin Tocci (the photo of the set is shown here). At the time, Jim told me he hadn’t yet visited Charles Sumner’s statue in Boston’s Public Garden, but looked forward to doing so. Well, Jim finally made it earlier this month, and he sent me this selfie in front of the statue. Glad you found it, Jim! By the way, if you’d like to view that broadcast from more than a year ago, the link is here.
